HiL Development Engineer for Powertrain and Active Chassis

Are you interested in cars or even sport cars? Do you want to take part in powertrain and active chassis development process of super premium Porsche cars?


  • Creation and review of Hardware-in-the-Loop test specifications for conventional and electric powertrain and active chassis systems
  • Development and implementation of test cases in various automation tools e.g. EXAM
  • Planning and execution of test runs on dSpace testing systems and their maintenance
  • Analysis and reporting of test results
  • Presentation of project results in project meetings and customer workshops
  • Support to and communication with development partners


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or an equivalent work experience
  • Work experience in automotive electronics e.g. work with control units, buses, diagnostic tools is advantageous
  • Basics in programming and algorithms
  • Strong analytic thinking and innovative approach
  • Knowledge of dSpace toolchain is welcome
  • Good command of English required
  • Strong communication and team-working skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer
  • Willingness to travel
