Systems Safety Engineer - Internship (f/m/d) with German


  • General support in the field of systems safety (functional safety, cyber security, SOTIF, failure analyses)
  • Support with the safety case completion and further work products for electronic systems in accordance to ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 for renowned Porsche cars
  • Reviews and linkage of safety requirements throughout the whole safety lifecycle (back-office support in IBM DOORS or other tools) with the focus on traceability
  • Analyses of latest international standards, methodologies and relevant papers
  • Support and maintenance of development processes and related intranet spaces
  • Development of training concepts and related materials
  • Active collaboration within international teams


  • Running study in Electronics engineering, Mechatronics or Informatics
  • Working at least 2-3 days a week in average (flexible working time)
  • Good knowledge of documentation tools: MS Word, Excel, PDF
  • Willingness to learn, and to work in an organized systematic way
  • Initiative spirit and good self-organization skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Both English and German (intermediate) are required
