Porsche Engineering Services, s.r.o., a daughter company of Porsche Engineering Group GmbH (PEG), is specialized in software development, electronics integration, electronics design and complex technical calculations. Senior Chassis Development Engineer - FEM (f/m)

Tasks

  • Strength, fatigue and dynamic analyses of the components as well as the whole chassis are essential steps in the development of the new vehicle. We are seeking new enthusiastic colleague to join our team. You will be part of highly skilled and proactive global team and participate in the chassis development projects for international stakeholders.

Tasks

  • Management of FEM related projects
  • Perform strength and fatigue analysis of chassis or chassis related components
  • Creation and editing of simulation models, tools and methods
  • Take over task and deliver results of necessary analysis
  • Implement engineering changes in simulation models
  • Understanding results and providing valuable feedback to design and test team
  • Cooperation with design, test and MBS teams

Requirements

  • Degree with technical focus in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Technology or Aerospace or in related fields
  • At least 3 years’ experience in FEM related project management
  • Good knowledge of chassis
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Windows and Linux
  • Good knowledge of FEM solver
  • You are flexible, highly motivated and well organized with self-decision ability
  • You have strong communication and team-working skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer
  • You speak and write English very well, German is an advantage
  • You work service- and team-oriented, are self-confident and always have an eye for the essential
