Safety & Quality
Read moreWe make sure any product or service we deliver is not only reliable, but most importantly safe and secure. Imagine a brake system – you would not like the brakes to be applied by a malfunction in the electronics. Neither you would like the brakes to be accessible from outside of the car and thus exposed to hacker attacks. Furthermore, you want to rely on the brake performance, from the mechanics, hydraulics and also electronics perspective.
The Safety & Quality Department covers all such cross-department topics and is responsible for the processes and quality management in the company. It includes the following aspects:
- Definition and assurance of company processes, project management processes and ISO 9001 certification.
- Coordination of system safety and cyber security in all projects of the Porsche Engineering Group in accordance with ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 21448, ISO 21434 and related standards.
- Quality assurance in SW projects in accordance with Automotive SPICE and related standards
- Participation in definition of Porsche Engineering Group-wide processes for the product development with respect to quality standards (ASPICE, KGAS), system safety and cybersecurity.
- Failure analyses moderation (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, HAZOP and others) in accordance with state-of-the-art guidelines and related standards.
- Coordination of activities related to open source software for all locations of the Porsche Engineering Group.
- Support of project management activities, project acquisition and preparation.
- Toolchain maintenance (DevOps) and qualification in accordance with quality, safety and security requirements, IT standards and development needs.
- Trainings and internal audits in the respective areas.
We are a team of engineers with passion for quality, safety and security. Do you share our mindset? Feel free to approach us and come for a coffee (or more).
